Because the technology is decentralized, Greenhood cannot stop a transaction. You, as the user, are responsible for your assets and must keep your seed phrase and login details strictly confidential. Greenhood also offers additional security options such as biometric verification and a PIN code. By following these measures, you can safely benefit from decentralized finance. Greenhood is also working on further security through NFC security keys. These NFC keys (in the form of keychains, rings, or cards) are required to approve a transaction. In the event of loss or theft of your phone, there is no risk whatsoever, because no transaction can take place without these additional security keys.

EURe is a stablecoin pegged directly to the euro. **This means that one EURe is always equal to one euro.** EURe is a stablecoin issued by Monerium, a digital exchange. Monerium guarantees the peg to the euro through an underlying system of reserves and regular audits. For every EURe issued, a surplus of euros is held in a secure, audited bank account. Regular external audits ensure that there are always sufficient reserves to cover all issued EURe, providing trust and stability to users. This allows users to trust that the value of their EURe will remain stable and will always be equal to one euro.

You can add EURe to your wallet by converting fiat currency, such as euros, through the Monerium exchange. You can request an IBAN through the Greenhood wallet and link it to a Greenhood account. As soon as you transfer euros from your regular bank account to your Monerium IBAN, Monerium will convert it to EURe (a digital stablecoin linked to the euro) in your Greenhood account. You can then use these EURe to pay directly to another Greenhood wallet or with your Gnosis Pay card anywhere in the world.

We offer contactless payment with the Greenhood card or by using the NFC chip in your phone. Greenhood contactless payment is made possible by our partner Gnosis Pay. They offer this service in combination with a VISA card.

The Greenhood Certificate is a digital token that represents ownership of the Greenhood cooperative. You can buy, trade, or hold these tokens as you see fit. They also grant voting rights when you officially become a member of the cooperative. Greenhood Certificates will be available once the blockchain implementation is complete.
